No monthly fee. $5 per paying client per month, plus card processing at cost (2.9% + 30¢). Both are taken from each client payment processed through Motus before it reaches your Stripe account. Unlimited clients. Payments you take outside Motus are not touched.

No. There is no subscription and no minimum. In a month where no client pays you through Motus, Motus costs you nothing.

A client whose payment went through Motus that month. A client in a free trial, a client who has cancelled, and anyone you bill outside Motus are not paying clients and cost you nothing.

Because card processing comes out of the same deduction. Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ on every card payment; Motus passes that on at cost and keeps none of it. On a $150 payment that is $5 to Motus plus $4.65 card processing, $9.65 in all, and $140.35 reaches your Stripe account. You would pay card processing on any platform that takes cards.

It is deducted from each client payment before the money reaches your Stripe account. There is no invoice from Motus and no card on file with Motus. If you give a client a discount that lasts as long as they stay, the discounted price is their price, and the fee and card processing are worked out on it. A discount that ends (a first month off, say) scales the fee down only while it runs.

A client on an annual plan counts as twelve months: $60 a year, plus card processing on the annual payment, taken from that payment when it is made.

No. You pay $5 per paying client, plus card processing, only on payments that actually go through Motus. A client in a trial has not paid yet, and a client who cancels stops costing anything once they stop paying.

$19/month ($182.40/year annual) for a Membership client, and $79/month ($756/year annual) for 1:1 coaching. Prices you already set are kept. Worth knowing on cheap memberships: $5 is 26% of a $19 membership, and about 3% of a $150 client. Motus earns the same $5 whatever you charge, so we have no stake in your price.

Invite a coach and earn $1 for every paying client they have, every month, off your next month's Motus fees. Only coaches you invited directly count. Example: you have 20 paying clients, so your Motus fees are $100 a month. You invite 3 coaches who each have 20 paying clients. That earns you $60 of credit, which comes off the following month's Motus fees, so you pay $40 that month instead of $100. Fees are still deducted from client payments as usual; after the month ends, the credit is returned to your Stripe balance as a rebate of those fees. Card processing is not affected.

No. It is a credit against the Motus fees you paid, and it can never be more than the fees you paid that month. It can make Motus free for you; it never pays out more than Motus took. For example, if you have 4 paying clients ($20 in fees) and earn $30 of credit, $20 comes off and the rest expires.

Yes. Credit applies to the month after it is earned. Any credit above your Motus fees for that month expires; it does not carry forward.

No. Only coaches you invited directly earn you credit. A coach you invited can earn their own credit by inviting others.

For as long as the coach you invited stays active on Motus, with no limit on how many coaches you invite. Like any fee term, the credit can change in future with 30 days' notice, and a change applies to you only once you accept the agreement version that states it.

They must sign up through your invite link. The invite is recorded when they finish setting up their studio. There is no discount for the coach you invite: they pay the same as everyone else.

Nothing, until you choose. You keep the terms you signed until you accept the current agreement in your coach dashboard. Accepting moves you to $5 per paying client, plus card processing, and ends your Studio subscription at the end of its current billing period.

At 20 paying clients, Motus is $100/month. TrueCoach's Standard plan is about $58/month for up to 20 clients, and TrainingPeaks' coach pricing is about $180/month at that size. Card processing is left out on every side, because you pay it on any platform. So Motus is cheaper than TrainingPeaks and more expensive than TrueCoach at that size; at 5 clients Motus ($25) and TrueCoach (about $26) cost about the same.
