Written by the Motus team — we build Motus, so read it knowing that. We have tried to be straight about where Everfit is genuinely the better choice, including on price. Pricing and features checked 2026-09-22; both platforms change these without much notice, so verify anything that matters to your decision at Everfit’s own site before you buy.
Everfit is a coaching platform for training, nutrition and habits, with a free plan for up to five clients, paid plans that scale per client, and add-ons for automation, on-demand content, payments and meal plans. It also markets AI features for programming, meal plans and messaging. Motus is a smaller, newer platform where you set your methodology once and every client's program is generated from it and adapted to how they train, with nutrition logging and client billing included in one price. Choose Everfit if you want a free start, a larger feature set and a lower bill. Choose Motus if you want one price with nutrition and payments included and the programming generated from how you coach — and accept being early.
If you are on Everfit's free plan, stay — Motus has no free plan and costs $149/mo plus 15% of what you collect through it. If you want more features, stay; Everfit's content library, automation and group tools are further along. The honest reasons to look at Motus are narrower: you are tired of stacking add-ons for payments and nutrition on top of the base plan, and you want each client's program generated from your own methodology and adjusted as they train, rather than assigning and automating programs you built. Everfit markets its own AI features and we have not tested how far they go, so compare them directly on a real client before you decide.
| Motus | Everfit | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Coaches who want programs generated from their methodology, with nutrition and payments in one price, and who accept an early platform | Coaches who want a free start, per-client pricing, and a broad training, nutrition and habit toolkit with optional add-ons |
| Starting price | Studio: $149/month plus a 15% platform fee on client payments processed through Motus — both, not the greater of the two. Unlimited clients. Studio is the only plan. No free trial. | Starter free (up to 5 clients). Pro from $19/mo billed monthly ($16/mo annually) at 5 clients, scaling to $255/mo at 250. Studio from $105/mo ($88/mo annually) at 50 clients. As of September 2026, per their pricing page. |

| Platform maturity | Early — small team, few coaches on the platform today. | Established, with a large coach base. |
A coach starting out or on a budget, anyone who wants a free plan, and anyone who relies on on-demand content, habit coaching or rules-based automation. It is the cheaper and more complete product today.
A coach who charges at least $79/mo for 1:1 work, wants one price with nutrition and payments included, and wants programming generated from their own methodology rather than assigned and automated by rules. Motus is small and early; weigh that.
Motus Studio is $149/month plus a 15% platform fee on client payments processed through Motus, unlimited clients, nutrition and payments included. Minimum client prices: $79/mo for 1:1, $39.99/mo for Membership. Worked example: 20 clients on 1:1 at $79/mo bring in $1,580/mo; Motus takes $149/mo plus 15% of that ($237), so about $386/mo in total.
Everfit is free for up to 5 clients. Pro starts at $19/mo (5 clients, monthly billing) and scales per client; Studio starts at $105/mo for 50. Add-ons are priced separately: automation from $29, on-demand content from $25, payments from $9, meal plans from $39 (monthly billing, lower annually). As of September 2026, per everfit.io/pricing.
Bottom line: For most rosters Everfit is cheaper, even with add-ons. Motus is one price with nothing to add on, but that price is higher.
Only for some coaches. If you are on Everfit's free plan, or rely on its content library and automation, stay. Motus makes sense if you would rather pay one price ($149/month plus a 15% platform fee) with nutrition and payments included, and want each client's program generated from your methodology and adapted as they train. Everfit is cheaper for most rosters and more established.
For programming, logging, 1:1 messaging, nutrition logging and client billing, yes. Not for on-demand content collections, habit coaching or Autoflow-style automation rules, which Motus does not have. Check which of those your clients actually use before you move.
One client at a time. There is no CSV import and no migration tool today — you invite each client by email from the coach dashboard, they set up their own account, and their history does not come with them. Keep Everfit running until everyone has moved.
Its pricing page marks AI features for workout programming, meal plans, macro tracking and message replies. We have not tested them, so we are not claiming Motus does more — compare both on a real client.
Not an App Store app under your own name — Motus does not offer that. What you get is a public coach page at motusprogram.com/c/yourname with your logo and your plans, where clients sign up and pay you directly through Stripe. Inside the Motus app they see your name, your logo and your methodology on their program. If a fully white-label app listed under your brand is a hard requirement, Motus is the wrong tool; some competitors sell one as an add-on.
Studio is $149/month plus a 15% platform fee on client payments processed through Motus. Setup is self-serve — no application, no waiting list.
